Cherry Doyle, born in Shrewsbury, lives near Cannock Chase, whose landscapes and wildlife inspire much of her poetry. She works in business change and has helped to run Blakenhall Writers in Wolverhampton. She has a BA in Creative Writing from the Open University. Her pamphlet September was published to much acclaim in 2019.
