The festival slam will be MCd by Dave Pitt, Emma Purshouse, and Steve Pottinger from the Wolverhampton based arts collective 'Poets, Prattlers, and Pandemonialists'. The winner of the slam will get a paid gig at the following year's festival. Emma Purshouse said, 'We're delighted to have been asked to host this event. We often get poets from all over the country coming forward to take part in our slams, so it's going to be an exciting evening.'
